The Singer Slant-O-Matic – The greatest sewing machine every built! 😉 According to the manual for my Vintage Semi Industrial Machine!
A beautiful machine to work with and stunning design. It Looks like a futuristic machine, made in the 1970’s or maybe even the 1960’s, built to last and a pleasure to use.
I found this machine which came in a job lot with 5 other sewing machines that I got on ebay, with no idea if any of them worked… it was a gamble.
I saw this machine in amongst them all, and my heart was set on this one.
So I found a lady to help me service all of them, we made 3 good out of 6, I sold the 5 I didn’t need or want, for spares and or repair, and 2 as working well, this one, the Slant-O-Matic was the only one that was already working perfectly and didnt need a single thing fixing!
So my dream machine came true 😉
She is a beauty!
This one is Model No: A500 and is also very similar to the Singer Rocketeer, which is also stunning.
