I moved to Bristol about 2 years ago, I first had all my sewing stuff in a room upstairs, then I got a huge caravan that I wanted to turn into a sewing studio, it was too wide to fit in my garden and down the side of the house, so then I moved all the sewing stuff into the house, got another caravan, one that fitted on the drive way, and then moved most of my sewing stuff back into the new caravan, in the garden.
That caravan turned out to be way too small for what I need, and is now used as a garden shed. So I managed to squeeze in all my sewing stuff into a cupboard under the stairs, on shelves and dotted around my living room.
So my sewing workshop has moved around my home many times since I moved here and finally I have a working situation that suits me and works. Kind of 😉
I use my kitchen table and floor, and have a sewing table in the living room, and I use a sewing table outside in the garden when the weather is warm enough.
My dream is build a sewing workshop in the garden, so I can have my home as a home, and I hope to start building this new workshop in spring time 2021.
